Now of course this isn't some new idea...in fact my mom has been doing this since I can remember!LOL. It's always nice to receive homemade cookie's or candy displayed in a beautiful decorated box and you could do it all yourself. #4 Home made Hand Warmers:
Here's a clever and affordable gift you can make that everyone could use. If you've ever had to shovel your driveway in a snow storm or sking, ice skating etc...you know how valuable a hand warmer can be. Especially if you made it yourself and gave it to someone you care about, possibly personalized or decorated in a special way for that certain someone. #5 Personalized Music CD
Another great and affordable gift idea is putting together a personal CD of either Christmas songs or the special persons favorite music. Today just about any computer has the ability to burn a CD and software to create your own personal cover is also readily available. Now if you're real creative and talented you could put together your own music and put it on CD to give to family and friends. Being a professional vocalist myself, this is what I do every year to give as thoughtful gifts to neighbors, co-workers and family. Ok maybe not a servant per say, but you could print out a nice official looking certificate and you could donate some of your time to help a friend or family member. It could be as simple as "This certificate is good for 1 whole body massage"... I know someone that would love that and I've personally given that exact certificate in the past as a gift. How about a dinner out, baby sitting for someone, cleaning the yard, etc... you get the idea.
